Top Heroes Facing Significant Changes in Patch 7.34d
Pangolier: The Meteoric Rise and Steep Fall
Once the shining hero of both pubs and pro scene, Pangolier’s prospective reign in TI12 may now be challenged. The Swashbuckle ability’s mana cost is changed from 75 to 90 across leveling. Shield Crash hasn’t been left untouched, witnessing both a spike in mana cost and a dip in damage, more profound at peak levels. Moreover, a subtle reduction in the Level 20 Talent for Swashbuckle Damage from +20 reduced to +15 adds to Pangolier’s challenges.
Other Heroes Under the Spotlight: Phantom Assassin, Sven, and Treant Protector
Phantom Assassin
Blur’s vanishing radius has been expanded from 400 to 500. The Aghanim’s upgrade now comes with a prolonged cooldown, removing the earlier Vanish Buffer boost. Also, tweaks in the chances of Coup De Grace’s Deadly Focus and Stifling Dagger keep players on their toes.
Sven
A direct hit to his prowess, Sven sees a dip in Base Damage by four. Furthermore, the God’s Strength bonus damage has been reduced from 120/160/200 percent to a modest 100/140/180 percent.
Treant Protector
This hero has faced a minor setback in Base Damage by two, coupled with a 0.25 drop in Base Mana Regen. The Level 15 Talent enhancing Nature’s Grasp Damage has reduced from +30 to +20. Additionally, the Level 25 Talent’s Overgrowth Cooldown Reduction sees a 5-second decrease from 40 seconds to 35 seconds.
